Naturally secluded
At Zen Garden you can “get away from it all” without having to go too far. Our conference buildings and accommodation lodges are set within 20 acres of landscaped garden and framed by 55 acres of native and pine forest. The fresh air will help to energise your thoughts, while our first class hospitality services will ensure that you’re fuelled for action. Between work sessions, attendees can wander the garden and enjoy the unstoppable views of Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf.
Team-building & leisure
All work and no play? Not likely at Zen Garden, where fun is part of the total experience. On our site you’ll find forest and garden trails, tennis, pétanque and a movie theatre. Team-building activities can be created especially for your group, using our extensive grounds and facilities. For pure relaxation, or as a reward for top-performers, we can offer an extensive massage menu, a swim-spa and two saunas.
Conference & meeting spaces
When you book Zen Garden as a conference or meeting venue, you will have the use of two rooms - Main Lodge and the Theatre Room. You can use these rooms however you like. For example, the Theatre Room could be used for presentations and Main Lodge could be used for breaks, meals and refreshments.

Technical equipment
Zen Garden has a range of conference tools and high-end audio visual equipment on site. Items required can be hired for use during your conference. If you need something that is not on the list below, our in-house conference coordinator can source additional equipment from trusted suppliers.
On-site conference manager
We have a dedicated conference manager to ensure your event runs smoothly. Talk with our manager about your specific requirements, such as meals, activities, equipment, day rooms. Anything and everything can be arranged.
Packages & Rates
You can hire Zen Garden for a HALF-DAY or FULL-DAY. We can also offer an ‘EXCLUSIVE USE’ booking, which includes luxury accommodation and all meals.
Half-day hire (4 hours) VENUE HIRE:

Full-day hire (8½ hours) VENUE HIRE:

A full-day hire includes discount on ferry tickets to/from Auckland Downtown and Pine Harbour, free transportation from Pine Harbour to/from Zen Garden, use of both the Main Lodge and Theatre Room, free room setup, free non-alcoholic refreshments, free use of screen & projector, electric whiteboard, wireless microphone and a speaker.
Exclusive use (2:00pm – 11:00am) VENUE HIRE:

This rate includes discount on ferry tickets to/from Auckland Downtown and Pine Harbour, free transportation from Pine Harbour to/from Zen Garden, use of both the Main Lodge and Theatre Room, free room setup, free non-alcoholic refreshments, free use of screen & projector, electric whiteboard, wireless microphone and a speaker. It also includes accommodation in up to four super king-sized, all meals (morning and afternoon tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner) and complimentary lodge activities.
Important Notes:
- Group transportation to/from airport or city can be arranged at additional cost.
- Special rates for conference accommodation can be arranged.
- All rates / hire charges are EXCLUSIVE GST (15%).
- Complimentary lodge activities include native walks, treasure hunting/amazing race, star gazing, glow worms, night fishing, night hunting, animal and fish feeding, tennis, pétanque, as well as use of spa, sauna and movie theatre. All activities are subject to weather conditions and availability.
- The entire Zen Garden is smoke-free. Thank you for keeping our air clean and fresh.
Reservations:
- All rates and packages are subject to change, please confirm with reservations at time of booking.
- In order to confirm a reservation, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost. The payment can either be made in the form of a bank transfer, bank cheque or current credit card with expiry date. Final payment of 100% is required 30 days prior to the event. Reservations made within 7 days of arrival will be accepted with credit card and bank transfers.
Cancellations:
Zen Garden is a small exclusive resort and cancellations affect us greatly. Due to our intimate size, the following charges will apply if the booking is cancelled:
- Within 30 days of the event, then 50% of the total cost of the booking will be charged.
- Within 7 days of the event, then 100% of the total cost of the booking will be charged.
